Today is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
Women and girls have only recently been considered are relevant in certain areas and matters, but many women changed the world with their discoveries, and some even risked their lives for Science: Marie Curies, Rosalind Franklin, Ada Lovelace, Elisabeth Blackwell, or Jane Godall.
One of my personal favorite women scientists is anthopologist, conservationist and primatologist Jane Goodall.
Her discoveries changed the way in which we see chimps, and also the way we humans differentiate from them. Let's learn a bit about her:
She gives speeches and meet people around the world to talk about the chimpanzees. She even meet kids like you many times!
And she writes books!
And some people write books about her and her life as well:
